Evert John Weirauch
E.J. passed away from cancer on Tues., Dec. 21, 2004 at his home
of 26 years in Everson. He was born in Bellingham at St. Joseph
Hospital on Aug. 14, 1950 to Theodore and Jeanne Weirauch.
He graduated from Bellingham High School in 1968, and received
his Associate in Arts from Whatcom Community College.
He was married to his loving wife, Lynn, for 30 years. He had three
children, Jason, age 34, Jesse, age 24 and Tyler age 19.
He worked in the roofing industry for forty years. He was a talented
artist, who had many commercial signs up around Bellingham and Everson
for many years. He enjoyed walking his dog, and was constantly building
various things around the house, listening to music, working on
computers, watching British comedies, along with Jimmy Stewart and
Gene Wilder films. E.J. was baptized on Nov. 6, 2004 at his home.
He is survived by his brother Ted and his wife Mavis; sisters Evonne
Moxley, Maria Torgeson, Marta and husband Larry Roper, Heidi and
husband Dean Whitney and K.C. and husband John Rhodes; mother-in-law
Dottie Martin; brother-in-law Pat Martin; brother-in-law Lee and
Janet Martin; and many nephews and nieces.
Special thanks go out to everyone who helped in so many ways. Memorial
service will be held at Christ the King Church, 4173 Meridian St.,
Bellingham, Thursday, December 23 at 2:00 p.m. Reception after.
In lieu of flowers, please send donations to Hospice or the Laurendeau
Cancer Foundation.
