Cheryl Lee Bailey, age 54, passed away peacefully Tuesday, March 30th in the presence of her family. A celebratory memorial service and reception will be held beginning at 10 am Sunday, April 4th at the Squalicum Boat-house in the Marina.

Cheryl was born December 9th, 1949 in Bellingham. A lifelong resident of Bellingham Cheryl was a devoted mother, wife, sister and daughter, and enriched the lives of her many friends. In addition to all those who loved her, she is survived by Bob Bailey, her husband of 34 years, her children Justin Fox-Bailey, Tishara Sena and Heidi Belt, her grandsons Hayden Sena and Aidan Fox-Bailey and her granddaughter-to-be Olivia Joy Sena, who is expected shortly. Cheryl will be remembered as a talented artist and tailor who could with equal ability create beautiful wedding dresses, sail covers for sailboats or hundreds of yarmulkes. She loved attending Husky games everywhere they played, touring the wine country in the convertible, sailing the Puget Sound and cooking fantastic food.
